Let’s be honest: Everyone loves the idea of backyard beekeeping, but the steep learning curve is often a beast. Most people quit before they ever taste their first jar of local honey because the process is overwhelming, expensive, and technical. Briggs Bee Company is your shortcut to success. We’ve stripped away the complexity by handling the technical heavy lifting—hive health, seasonal treatments, and harvest logistics—so you can enjoy the environmental benefits of a buzzing, pollinated garden without the "beekeeper burnout".

Here are our two primary service paths designed to fit your property and goals:

Residential: The "Homeowner Empowered" Model Perfect for homeowners, holistic health enthusiasts, and hobbyists who want the tangible benefits of local backyard honey and hands-on education without the risk of failure.

  • Setup Fee: $400 base setup fee (includes a pristine beehive, live bees, and professional installation), plus $350 for each additional hive.

  • Monthly Subscription: $75 per month base, plus $25 for each additional hive. (Annual option: $800 upfront annually, plus $275 per each additional hive.)

  • What’s Included: Hive installation, two annual honey harvests, one oxalic acid treatment, comprehensive winter prep, and two additional visits as needed.

  • The Empower Experience: This is an educational service where clients are encouraged to observe and assist during our visits, fostering a collaborative, hands-on learning environment.

  • Capacity Limits: Up to 2 hives per .33-acre property (scaling up to 6 hives per acre).

  • Scheduling & Extras: Visits are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis when scheduling windows open. Priority scheduling is available for an extra $10/month. Additional requested visits outside the included scope are $50 (for up to 2 hours), and $50/hour thereafter.

Commercial & Agricultural Outposts Designed specifically for local farmers, commercial property owners, and businesses seeking optimized pollination services and high honey yields with zero required maintenance.

  • Setup Fee: $500 setup fee per hive (includes the beehive, live bees, and professional installation), plus $450 for each additional hive.

  • Monthly Subscription: $120 per month base, plus $40 for each additional hive. (Annual option: $1,320 upfront annual base, plus $440 per each additional hive.)

  • What’s Included: A strictly maintenance-only service agreement. Briggs Bee Co. assumes full management responsibility, executing all necessary treatments, harvests, and check-ups as determined by our expert schedule.

  • Service Model: Fully hands-off operations with no educational courses provided. Harvested honey is provided to the property owner upon request at no extra charge.

  • Capacity Limits: Highly scalable, accommodating up to 10 hives per acre, or up to 100 hives per 10 acres.

  • Scheduling: Serviced strictly at our convenience within notified service windows to optimize our fleet routes.
